The Ministry of Industry and Technology has stated that a package is being developed under the name 'My First Car Domestic Automobile Family Support Program.' As part of the new regulation, which anticipates the withdrawal of vehicles older than 25 years from traffic, it is planned to grant VAT exemption to families with three or more children who purchase a domestic car.
According to the study conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, those who scrap their vehicles over 25 years old will be able to purchase zero vehicles without special consumption tax (SCT).
FAMILIES WITH 3 CHILDREN WILL BE PRIORITIZED
It was stated that the program will offer long-term payment options, low installment financing opportunities, and flexible credit models, especially for families with three or more children.
TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE PARLIAMENT BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR
The "My First Car Domestic Automobile Family Support Program," which will pave the way for low-income families to own a car for the first time, will be submitted to the Parliament before the end of 2025.
FINANCING SUPPORT WILL ALSO BE PROVIDED
Not only tax advantages but also financing support will be provided within the scope of the program. Long-term payment options, low installment financing models, and flexible credit plans are planned to be offered. Thus, families with limited regular income will be able to own a car without straining their budgets.
