In Bahçelievler, a person who drew a knife on the police and was identified as a member of the terrorist organization ISIS was neutralized by the police after being shot in the leg. Various dangerous materials were seized from a bag in the person's possession.

Police teams patrolling the Şirinevler area of Bahçelievler, Istanbul, became suspicious of an individual who was allegedly a foreign national. The police took action to stop the individual carrying a bag. The person, who did not comply with the police's stop warning and began to flee, pulled a knife on the pursuing officer.

SHOT IN THE LEG TO RENDER HIM INEFFECTIVE

The police rendered the suspect ineffective by shooting him in the leg. While the police teams were examining the bag carried by the individual, they discovered a torch connected to a lighter, numerous firecrackers, unidentified materials wrapped in aluminum foil, and a knife as a result of the examination.

PROVED TO BE A MEMBER OF ISIS

It was determined that the individual, identified as E.C., had been ordered by judicial authorities to be placed under observation at a mental health hospital. Furthermore, it was learned that he was wanted for membership in the terrorist organization ISIS.
