A suspect stopped by the police in İzmir was found to be in possession of foreign currency and jewelry worth 3 million lira. The suspect, who was identified as having defrauded citizens by claiming to be "the police," has been arrested.

The Motorcycle Police Teams of the İzmir Security Directorate stopped a suspicious individual during their patrol. A search revealed that the individual was in possession of foreign currency and valuables worth 3 million lira.

HE WAS SCAMMING BY SAYING "I'M A POLICE"

In the investigation conducted by the Fraud Bureau, it was revealed that the individual had introduced himself as a "police" officer in İzmir and Aydın, deceiving citizens and taking their valuables and money.

HE WAS ARRESTED

The individual named B.C., who was taken into custody, was arrested and sent to prison after the procedures at the police station.
