After shooting his spouse with a gun during an argument, Yılmaz U. caused her death and then went into hiding. The husband was captured and taken into custody by the police teams and was subsequently referred to the judicial authorities.

The brutal husband, who shot and killed his wife during an argument in Şişli, Istanbul, was taken into custody by police teams. After completing the procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the judicial authorities.

The incident occurred around 12:00 in the Kuştepe neighborhood of Şişli. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between Yılmaz U. and his wife Gülcan U. for an unknown reason, and as the argument escalated into a fight, Yılmaz U. shot his wife with the gun he had and fled the scene. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While the police teams took security measures on the street, after the first intervention by the medical teams, Gülcan U. was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Despite all the interventions, Gülcan U. could not be saved and lost her life, while the police conducted evidence examination at the scene. After the examination, the woman's body was taken to the forensic morgue, and following the investigation, the police teams launched a large-scale operation to capture the fleeing suspect. The brutal husband was referred to the courthouse.

With the efforts of the police teams, the suspect was taken into custody and, after the procedures at the police station, was referred to the judicial authorities. The suspect's proceedings at the courthouse are ongoing.
