An argument broke out between H.Ö., who is alleged to have psychological problems, and his mother and sister on Çekiç Street in the Harmancık neighborhood of the Meram district of Konya. As the argument escalated, H.Ö. stabbed his mother D.Ö. in the shoulder and his sister A.Y. in the back with a knife.

H.Ö. then harmed himself by stabbing his chest with a knife. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured individuals, who received first aid at the scene by health teams, were taken to Konya City Hospital and Necmettin Erbakan University Medical Faculty Hospital for treatment.
