HE STORMED THE BEIN SPORTS BUILDING WITH A TOY GUN
The suspect, Kemal S, who entered the beIN SPORTS building located in Sarıyer Ayazağa with a toy gun and was detained by police teams, has completed his procedures at the police station. The suspect was transferred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan. In his statement taken at the prosecutor's office, Kemal S claimed that he was able to listen to conversations through an application he downloaded to his wife Emine S's phone, and when he checked the conversations on his wife's phone on November 9, he noticed that sports commentator Güntekin Onay was scolding his wife and reporting the situation to his superior.
"I WANTED GÜNTEKİN ONAY TO APOLOGIZE TO MY WIFE"
Kemal S expressed that he was very upset about this situation, stating that on the day of the incident, his wife was at work, and he initially tried to prevent himself from entering. When he entered, he came face to face with the security supervisor, showed him the toy gun at his waist, and stated that he had no intention of harming anyone, saying that he would talk to Güntekin Onay.
Kemal S later stated that he pointed the gun to his head and asked Onay to apologize to his wife, and when he learned that Onay had apologized to his wife, he handed the toy bead gun to the police, asserting that he did not threaten anyone with the gun and that he had no regrets.
HE WAS ARRESTED
After his statement was taken, the suspect Kemal S was referred to the court for his arrest. The peace criminal court decided to arrest Kemal S for the crime of "violating the inviolability of the workplace by using coercion or threats."
