In a wedding in Hatay, terrifying moments were experienced. A drunken individual said to the singer, "You will stand in front of me and sing. My relatives and I will dance the halay. Otherwise, I will shoot this place up," and then he strangled the singer. While the attacker was released after giving his statement, the victimized singer said, "He directly grabbed my throat; all ten of his fingers were around my neck. Just because someone has had two drinks and says 'I don't remember' doesn't mean I have to pay the price."
There was a horror at a wedding in the Akbez neighborhood of Hassa district in Hatay. After a dispute over the head scarf for the halay among the guests attending the wedding, a drunken man grabbed the throat of the female soloist.

The artist known as Esin Soloist stated that the drunken man had argued with someone else about 45 minutes earlier, saying that the suspect had told her, "You will stand in front of me and sing. My relatives and I will dance the halay. Otherwise, I will make a scene here." The soloist expressed that the suspect later attacked her and grabbed her throat.

The man who was detained upon the complaint of the soloist was released after his statement.
"HIS TEN FINGERS WERE ON MY THROAT AT ONCE"
Esin Soloist described the terrifying moments she experienced with the following words: "The man was about two meters tall. He directly grabbed my throat; his ten fingers were on my throat at once. Citizens intervened, but he didn't let go; there was a struggle for 3-4 minutes. During that time, my pearl and gold necklace broke, and it could not be found after the incident. At the moment of the attack, I thought, 'I guess this is the end for me.' I work in an office during the day and sing at weddings and venues in the evenings.
"I WORK TO NOT BE DEPENDENT ON ANYONE"
I have two children, and I work to not be dependent on anyone. I should not have to pay the price just because someone drinks two glasses and says, 'I don't remember.' I will not remain silent; I want to be the voice of all working mothers. I trust our government; I have made my complaint. I will neither give up my job nor be afraid. I will perform on stage in the same place again tomorrow," she said.
