The Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK) announced its decisions. The PFDK imposed a fine on Galatasaray player Mario Lemina and Fenerbahçe player Jhon Duran. The yellow-navy blue team's defender Jayden Oosterwolde received a 1-match suspension.
PFDK imposed penalties on three football players following the Galatasaray - Fenerbahçe derby played in the Super Cup final.
1 MATCH BAN FOR OOSTERWOLDE
PFDK fined Galatasaray's Gabonese player Mario Lemina and Fenerbahçe's Colombian striker Jhon Duran. Additionally, Fenerbahçe's Dutch defender Jayden Oosterwolde received a 1-match ban.
PFDK's statement is as follows:
"1- GALATASARAY A.Ş. athlete MARIO RENE JUNIOR LEMINA is penalized with a fine of 400,000.-TL due to unsportsmanlike conduct in his post-match social media post (Instagram) after the Turkcell Super Cup match played on 10.01.2026 between GALATASARAY A.Ş. and FENERBAHÇE A.Ş., in accordance with articles 36/2 and 35/4 of the FDT."
2- FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. athlete JHON JADER DURAN PALACIOS is penalized with a fine of 400,000.-TL due to unsportsmanlike conduct in his post-match social media post (Instagram) after the Turkcell Super Cup match played on 10.01.2026 between GALATASARAY A.Ş. and FENERBAHÇE A.Ş., in accordance with articles 36/2 and 35/4 of the FDT. It has been decided to penalize FENERBAHÇE A.Ş. athlete JAYDEN QUINN OOSTERWOLDE with a 1 OFFICIAL MATCH BAN and a fine of 400,000.-TL due to unsportsmanlike conduct towards an opposing team player in his post-match social media post (Instagram) after the same match, in accordance with articles 36/1-a and 35/4 of the FDT.
