"THEY TOLD ME I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET OUT IF I WENT IN"
Ozan Kuşçu, who said he experienced great anxiety, stated, "I went to the sinkhole in Bucak, which is 90 meters deep. It is a natural formation that people call a 'black hole.' The locals around the sinkhole told me that there was no way to descend and that if I went in, I wouldn't be able to get out. I was very anxious because no one had done it before. The trees we secured were very small, and we took different precautions. There was still danger, but I managed to overcome my fear and descend."
"I DESCENDED 90 METERS BELOW GROUND ALONE"
Kuşçu, who noted that there were no safety measures around the sinkhole, said, "There were a lot of animal carcasses down there. The area was surrounded by barbed wire, but people had broken the wire and thrown it into the sinkhole. It was an incredible feeling. I descended 90 meters below ground alone. I had never encountered anything like this. I was very anxious, wondering if the rope would break. According to the locals, there is a legend about this sinkhole. A bride riding on a camel falls into this sinkhole, and years later, her body is found in Antalya. They said there are water channels here, but I couldn't see those channels down below," he said.
"IT TOOK ME 1 HOUR TO CLIMB BACK UP"
Kuşçu also mentioned that he felt dizzy when he first saw the sinkhole, saying, "From above, the bottom was not visible. I descended, but I could have been trapped with the slightest mistake. It felt like a place not of this world. It was incredibly quiet. It took me 1 hour to climb back up. On social media, people were sending me videos of this place and asking me to go down. I was curious, so I went to satisfy their curiosity and to gain such an experience."
