The wife of Air Pilot Lieutenant Cüneyt Kandemir, who was martyred in the military cargo plane crash in Georgia, Defne Kandemir, broke hearts with her emotional post on social media. The images and words shared by Kandemir deeply affected those who viewed them.
On November 11, 20 soldiers were martyred when a C-130 military cargo plane belonging to the Turkish Air Force crashed in Georgia. One of those soldiers was Air Pilot Lieutenant Cüneyt Kandemir. A video and lines shared by the martyred pilot Kandemir's wife, Defne Kandemir, broke hearts.
"WE HAD FLOWN ON THIS PLANE TOGETHER"
Defne Kandemir described the significance of the plane to her with the following words:
"Plane number 609… We had flown on this plane together. I had examined the inside and outside of the C-130 so carefully for the first time. I later realized in the video that it was that plane. How could I have known that this would be the plane my husband would be martyred in…"
