The Turkish Football Federation, under the presidency of İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, had the financials of the former president Mehmet Büyükekşi's term audited by independent committees.

NUMBERS TURNED OUT TO BE WRONG, LAWSUIT MAY BE FILED

According to a report in HT Sport; as a result of the examination of the financial reports between June 2023 and May 2024, it was determined that the numbers were incorrect. The report stated that the financial reports from the relevant period could be subject to a lawsuit.

HACIOSMANOĞLU HAD PREVIOUSLY STATED

TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu had made striking statements about the financial table of Mehmet Büyükekşi's term in a television program he attended a few months ago. Hacıosmanoğlu said, "They presented a financial table showing a surplus of 5.9 million at the financial general assembly, but investigations revealed that this table was actually a deficit of 278 million. There has been manipulation of financial details on the line items. This is a crime."
