Türk-İş President Ergün Atalay announced his expectations for the minimum wage in 2025. Stating that the union's expectation is 29,583 lira, Atalay expressed that they will not sign a decision below this figure.
HE APPEARED BEFORE THE JOURNALIST AND JOURNALISTS
Atalay stated that he appeared before the cameras with four people who receive minimum wage, saying, "One of our brothers on the right is a subcontracted worker, and the other is a highway worker... The brother sitting on our left is a journalist... He also receives minimum wage... One of the brothers sitting next to him is a cook, and the other is a hairdresser... They also receive minimum wage..."

The Minimum Wage Determination Commission held its first meeting on December 10, its second meeting on December 16, and its third meeting today. In the meeting, the employer side was represented by the Turkish Employers' Associations Confederation (TİSK), while the worker side was represented by TÜRK-İŞ, as it has the most members.
