HE CAME TO THE AGENDA WITH HIS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDACY
Born in 1970 in Istanbul, Eyüp Yeşilyurt had announced his candidacy for the presidency ahead of the 2021 elections at Fenerbahçe. However, he could not participate in the election as an official candidate because he could not collect enough signatures.
CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM THE CLUB
Fenerbahçe Club issued a condolence message after Yeşilyurt's death. The statement said: “Our club member with registration number 13445, Eyüp Yeşilyurt, has passed away. The funeral of the deceased will be held on Monday, May 4, following the afternoon prayer at Yakacık Ulu Mosque. We pray for God's mercy on Eyüp Yeşilyurt and extend our condolences to his family.”

Eyüp Yeşilyurt, who was married and had three children, passed away, causing sorrow in the yellow-navy blue community.
