A 15.75% increase has been made in retirement pensions as of January. The increase rate resulting from inflation has been reflected in the base monthly salaries. The increased pensions have started to be deposited into accounts as of today. Looking at the dates for the deposit of retirement pensions, SSK retirees will receive their pensions between January 17-26, while Bağ-Kur retirees will receive theirs between January 25-28.

On the other hand, the bill that includes raising the lowest retirement salary to 14,469 lira was accepted in the TBMM Planning and Budget Commission a few days ago. With the amendment to the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law, the minimum monthly payment amount, which is projected to be 12,500 lira for retirees receiving old-age, disability, and death pensions, will be increased to 14,469 lira starting from January 2025. If the regulation, which will be published in the Official Gazette after being accepted by the TBMM General Assembly, is not completed in time, the differences will be deposited into accounts in February.
