For many years, a question-and-answer program on YouTube called Cold War has made headlines with a scandal. In the program, the hadith of Prophet Muhammad, "Alcohol is the mother of all evils," was mocked.
THEY MADE PROPHET MUHAMMAD'S HADITH A SUBJECT OF MOCKERY
One of the hosts of the program, Boğaç Soydemir, asked the person opposite him, "What do you call a person who says 'Alcohol is the mother of all evils'?" The answer Soydemir gave later became a scandal.
APOLOGIZED AFTER THE REACTIONS
Following the reactions, Soydemir made a statement. Apologizing, Soydemir included the following expressions in his statement: "Friends, I want to apologize to the people I hurt with a joke I made a few days ago. I had no such intention at all. Normally, I try to be sensitive in the jokes I make.
"I READ THAT JOKE FOR THE FIRST TIME AT THAT MOMENT"
However, at that moment, we had moved on to jokes from the audience, and I read that joke for the first time at that moment. I thought it was just a simple wordplay at that moment, but I should have thought about it afterwards. I realized it when my friends warned me. You are right. I apologize for that. We have removed the relevant part from the broadcast."
