The heavy rain warned by the meteorology has been effective in Adana since the morning hours. The downpour negatively affected life throughout the city. Many businesses in the Metal Industrial Site were flooded, while many underpasses on Türkmenbaşı Boulevard, Kıyıboyu Street, Alparslan Türkeş Boulevard, and the D-400 highway were also submerged. Some citizens who were stranded in their vehicles waited by climbing onto the roof of a truck.

A CHILD SWAM IN THE STREET

One child tried to swim in the puddle on Türkmenbaşı Boulevard. Another child collecting paper had a hard time moving forward.

On the other hand, the city's inadequate infrastructure has once again come to light. The puddles formed on the main arteries brought transportation to a standstill. Citizens were victimized due to blocked drains.

"ZEYDAN BEY IS NOT CONCERNED ABOUT INFRASTRUCTURE"

Another tradesman, Hüseyin Kör, stated, "We are not satisfied with the municipality. Zeydan Bey is building underpasses and bridges but is not concerned about the infrastructure. We want him to pay attention to these issues. Our shop was flooded this morning; we cleaned the water for an hour," he expressed.
