A drummer who entered a building to receive tips in the Sahrayıcedit neighborhood of Kadıköy district in Istanbul, urinated in the elevator.
IT WAS CAPTURED ON CAMERA Those moments were captured second by second on the elevator's security camera.
"THE MAIN REASON WE INSTALLED THE CAMERA WAS BECAUSE SOMEONE REGULARLY URINATED IN THE ELEVATOR CABINS OF THE APARTMENT" Speaking about the incident, block manager Alper Üstündağ said, "We took office as managers four years ago. When we arrived four years ago, there were discussions about whether to allow cameras in the apartment despite it being 42 years old. The main reason we installed the camera was that someone regularly urinated in the elevator cabins of the apartment. After we installed the camera, we prevented this, and we hadn't experienced such an incident for a long time."
"THERE CAN BE NOTHING AS ABSURD AS A DRUMMER URINATING IN AN ELEVATOR CABIN IN 2025" Stating that the incident was very unfortunate, Üstündağ said, "It is really a very unfortunate situation for a drummer entering the apartment to urinate in the elevator cabin. We do not know what people want to do, where they want to take the issue. There can be nothing as absurd as a drummer coming into an elevator cabin to urinate in 2025. I think responsibilities should start from the bottom. Even though we do not hear the sound of the drum, I understand that they come to collect money. However, it is extremely rude and disrespectful to react in such a way, perhaps because the apartment residents did not give money. I hope our people become a little more responsible and conscious. I can never accept such an incident. A drummer trying to enter the apartment to collect money and then urinating in the elevator cabin when he does not get the money he wants is really a huge disrespect. It is both a shame and a sin. Moreover, by doing this at iftar time, he placed a great burden on our staff. Our staff had to clean up the urine he made at iftar time. With this action, the drummer infringed on someone else's rights," he said.
