According to the new 'Minimum Attorney Fee Schedule' set by the Turkish Bar Association, the minimum fee to be paid to lawyers by the public and private sectors has been determined to be 33,000 lira. The fees for lawsuits will range between 9,000 lira and 120,000 lira.
The announcement of the 'Minimum Attorney Fee Schedule' by the Turkish Bar Association has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the announcement published in the Official Gazette, the minimum fee that public institutions and organizations, as well as private individuals and legal entities, will pay to their contracted attorneys has been set at 33 thousand lira. The lawsuit fees will range between 9 thousand lira and 120 thousand lira.
THE ORAL CONSULTATION FEE FOR THE FIRST 1 HOUR HAS BECOME 4 THOUSAND LIRA
The fee for oral consultation in the office for attorneys has been set at 4 thousand lira for the first hour, 1 thousand 800 lira for each subsequent hour, and the fee for oral consultation at the location visited upon request has become 7 thousand lira for up to 1 hour. According to this announcement, attorneys will be paid 8 thousand lira for the preparation of lease agreements and similar contracts; and 32 thousand lira for the preparation of documents such as statutes, regulations, inheritance agreements, and wills.
