In Adana, at the Seyir Hill, suspect Osman A., who killed Semra Yılmaz with a pistol, is alleged to have been harassing Yılmaz for a while and insisting on meeting with her. While it was stated that the previous argument between the two continued on the day of the incident, it was revealed that Osman A. also killed Ali Can Demir and Sinan İlbey, who witnessed the murder. The suspect's interrogation at the police station continues.
In an incident that occurred at the Rüzgarlı Tepe locality in the Kabasakal neighborhood of Adana's Çukurova district, Osman A. took Semra Yılmaz, whom he had picked up from her home in his car, to the observation hill. After chatting for a while, an argument broke out between the two for an unknown reason, quickly turning into a fight. Osman A. fired at Semra Yılmaz with the pistol he had with him.
CAUGHT WHILE FLEEING
The suspect then opened fire on Ali Can Demir and Sinan İlbey, who were in another car in the area and unrelated to the incident, before getting into his vehicle and fleeing. Upon notification, health teams dispatched to the scene determined that Yılmaz, Demir, and İlbey had lost their lives. The bodies were taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue after the on-site investigation.
As a result of the work carried out by the Homicide Bureau teams, Osman A. was caught in the Güzelevler neighborhood of Yüreğir district, along with the pistol he used in the incident.
ALLEGEDLY HARASSED SEMRA YILMAZ
In the investigation, it was alleged that Osman A. had been harassing Semra Yılmaz for some time and persistently insisting on meeting her. It was stated that the argument that had previously occurred between the two in the neighborhood continued on the day of the incident.
KILLED FOR BEING WITNESSES
According to information obtained in the investigation, it emerged that Ali Can Demir and Sinan İlbey were targeted because they witnessed the murder of Semra Yılmaz.
While the bodies of Semra Yılmaz, Ali Can Demir, and Sinan İlbey, whose autopsies were completed, were handed over to their families, it was reported that the questioning of Osman A., who was taken to the police station, was ongoing.
