Satellite images have revealed that China has built full-scale mockups of US warships, a US naval base in Japan, and critical government buildings in Taiwan. While experts assess that these mockups are used for missile tests and military preparation and training activities for a potential Taiwan operation, no official statement has yet been issued by the Beijing administration regarding the matter.
According to the analysis of satellite images, China has built life-sized models of US warships, warplanes, military bases, and critical public buildings in Taiwan in different regions of the country. Analysts state that these structures are used by the Chinese military to test long-range missile systems and next-generation AI-assisted targeting technologies.
COPY OF THE US'S MOST CRITICAL BASE ALSO MADE
The images also revealed that an exact replica of the US Yokosuka Naval Base in Japan has been constructed. Experts say that in a potential conflict around Taiwan, this base would be one of the US's most critical military centers, and therefore China is running its scenarios based on this target. The base also includes models of Arleigh Burke-class destroyers.
MISSILE IMPACT TRACES DETECTED
Defense analysts noted that ballistic missile impact traces were found near the model warships on the site. This is considered to indicate that China is testing its anti-ship missile capabilities on models similar to real targets.
PREPARATION FOR TAIWAN SCENARIO COMMENT
Experts evaluating the satellite images state that modeling US warships, government agencies in Taiwan, and military bases in Japan in the same training area shows that China is working on comprehensive scenarios for a possible Taiwan operation. The Beijing administration has not made an official statement regarding the images in question.
