The decline in oil prices in global markets is also reflected as a reduction in pump prices. The expected discount of 1 lira and 98 kuruş on gasoline has come into effect. Now, the focus is on a discount for diesel.
Fuel prices in Turkey directly affect millions of vehicles. The expectation of the U.S. lifting sanctions on Russian oil has led to a decrease in global oil prices, which is reflected in lower pump prices in Turkey. The latest reduction came into effect today.
1 LIRA 98 KURUS DISCOUNT ON GASOLINE
Brent traded below 70 dollars per barrel and dropped by about 5% throughout the week due to concerns that taxes would reduce demand. U.S. crude oil hovered around 66 dollars. There was a 1 lira 04 kuruş discount on the price of gasoline per liter on Tuesday. Expectations indicated that a decrease of 1 lira 98 kuruş in gasoline prices occurred as of last night.
NOW A DIESEL DISCOUNT IS COMING
