The response from the informant Nevzat Bahtiyar to the question "Why didn't you dismember the body?" that left everyone speechless.

The trial regarding the murder of Narin Güran in Diyarbakır has begun, with 26 witnesses and 4 defendants present. In the first hearing held today at the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court, the detained defendants, mother Yüksel, brother Enes, and uncle Salim Güran, along with neighbors and witnesses, were brought to court.

Initially, the informant Nevzat Bahtiyar took the stand. During the hearing, the judge asked Bahtiyar, "Salim told you to dismember, why didn't you do it?" Bahtiyar responded, "I couldn't. My conscience didn't allow it."

• Nevzat: Nowhere.
• Judge: Salim told you to dismember, why didn't you do it?
• Nevzat Bahtiyar: I couldn't. My conscience didn't allow it.

• Nevzat Bahtiyar: I wanted to.
• Judge: Why did you put a stone? Salim told you to throw it, if you had thrown it in a sack, the body would have gone.
• Nevzat Bahtiyar: I was afraid, that's what I did. Only Salim and Yüksel knew that I carried the sack there.

• Nevzat Bahtiyar: I went to my sister-in-law's house.
• Judge: You are very calm; you say you were afraid, yet you continue your life calmly, this doesn't seem convincing to me. Have you ever killed someone before? You may not answer this.
• Nevzat Bahtiyar: No, I haven't killed.
• Judge: Then why did you go to buy cheese for your sister-in-law? Until you confessed, you didn't tell anyone, right?
• Nevzat Bahtiyar: I didn't tell.
