A disaster was averted in Istanbul. A partial collapse occurred on G-103 Street in the Yeşilkent neighborhood of Avcılar district during the infrastructure work carried out by İSKİ teams.
THE ROAD COLLAPSED, A WORKER WAS TRAPPED UNDER THE DEBRIS
At that moment, one of the workers, Erkan Yavuz, was trapped under the debris. Upon notification from the surrounding people, fire and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Erkan Yavuz was rescued from the location by the fire brigade's efforts. After receiving first aid from the medical teams, Yavuz was taken to the hospital. The area where the road collapse occurred was closed off with a security cordon by the teams.
