After heavy rainfall in Üsküdar, a road collapse occurred. During the collapse, a parked car fell into the pit. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries in the incident.
Heavy rainfall that has been ongoing for about 3 days in Istanbul has weakened the ground, causing a collapse in part of the road in the Acıbadem neighborhood of Üsküdar district.
TEAMS ON ALERT
During the collapse, a parked vehicle on the street fell into a pit on the roadside and tipped over. Upon notification from the surrounding people, fire and police teams were dispatched to the area. Another vehicle parked on the collapsed road was secured with a rope by the teams to prevent a possible fall.
LUCKILY, NO ONE WAS KILLED OR INJURED
The police teams took security measures by closing the entrances and exits to the street. Fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries in the incident. An investigation has been initiated regarding the event.
