The incident, which occurred yesterday afternoon on Doğan Araslı Boulevard in Esenyurt, Istanbul, allegedly began when a person trying to cross the pedestrian walkway started arguing with the driver of a light commercial vehicle for not yielding. ATTACKED THE DRIVER WITH A KNIFEWhile a scuffle occurred between the pedestrian and the driver, the individual injured the driver with the knife in hand. While nearby citizens tried to separate the fight, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Police teams took the suspect into custody, while the injured driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
