Manisa Şehzadeler Mayor Gülşah Durbay passed away due to cancer after 12 days of treatment in intensive care. Durbay, who was being treated on a ventilator at the City Hospital, left his family, loved ones, and party community in great sorrow.
SCANDALOUS POST DREW REACTION
Following the sad news, a post by Özgür Çelik, a delegate from Sultanbeyli expelled from the Republican People's Party, caused an uproar in the public. Çelik used expressions linking the death of Gülşah Durbay to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.
"I DON'T THINK YOU ARE INNOCENT"
In his post, Çelik stated, "I can swear that the sadness that caused our Manisa Şehzadeler Mayor Gülşah Durbay to succumb to her relentless illness exists, but I cannot prove it. Özgür Özel, I do not think you are innocent in the death of our Gülşah Mayor," he wrote.
DURUBAY HAD SAID, "I WAS SLANDERED"
Gülşah Durbay had previously categorically denied allegations regarding her relationship with CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and claims that she had an abortion. Durbay, who announced that she was undergoing cancer treatment, stated, "I was slandered. I will hold accountable for all the lies in court."
