The second day of the trial for the murder of university student Ayşe Tokyaz, who was killed by former police officer Cemil Koç and whose body was left in a suitcase by the roadside, began with tension. Tokyaz's twin sister, Esra Tokyaz, confronted the defendant Cemil Koç, saying, "You will suffer from me today. You're finished. Should I call you Cemil or Cem?" To which Koç replied, "I am enough for all of you. I will love all of you."
The trial regarding the murder of university student Ayşe Tokyaz (22), who was killed by former police officer Cemil Koç in Küçükçekmece on July 11 and whose body was placed in a suitcase and left by the roadside in Eyüpsultan, continues on its second day.
Esra Tokyaz attended the first hearing wearing her twin's clothes At the hearing held at the Küçükçekmece 2nd High Criminal Court, nine detained defendants, including the suspect Cemil Koç (38), and the lawyers of the parties were present. Additionally, the complainant's twin sister Esra, and parents Halime and Mustafa Tokyaz were also present. In the hearing held yesterday, the suspect Cemil Koç and the detained defendant C.A., who is alleged to have assisted him, made their defenses. In today's session, the other defendants are expected to present their defenses.

WARNING FROM THE COURT PRESIDENT TO ESRA TOKYAZ According to the information shared by journalist Emrullah Erdinç; after the defendant Cemil Koç completed his defense, he began to answer the lawyers' questions during cross-examination. During the cross-examination, upon the intervention of Ayşe Tokyaz's twin sister Esra Tokyaz, the court president turned to the courtroom and warned, "If the complainant side makes noise again, I will take action against you." Following these words, the court president warned Esra Tokyaz once more.
The murdered Ayşe Tokyaz FROM THE INDICTMENT The prepared indictment was accepted by the Küçükçekmece 2nd High Criminal Court. In the indictment, aggravated life imprisonment was requested for the defendant Cemil Koç for the crime of 'murder with premeditation and inflicting torture with monstrous feelings against a woman', and a prison sentence of 4 to 15 years for the crimes of 'depriving a person of their liberty by using force, threat, or deceit' and 'blackmail'. For the other 7 detained defendants, it was requested that they be sentenced to 15 to 20 years in prison for the crime of 'aiding and abetting the murder of a woman with premeditation and inflicting torture with monstrous feelings'. Following the determination that Oğuz Kal participated in the crime committed by the defendant Cemil Koç, aggravated life imprisonment was requested for the crime of 'participation in the murder of a woman with premeditation and inflicting torture with monstrous feelings' and a prison sentence of 3 to 12 years for the other crimes.
