The son of former minister Abdüllatif Şener, Bedirhan Şener, who killed his grandmother by shooting her in Ankara, has been transferred to Bilkent City Hospital High Security Forensic Psychiatry Hospital.

Bedirhan Şener, who took his grandmother Leyla Çetiner hostage after an argument and then killed her with a gun last night, was brought to the courthouse after being taken into custody. Şener was subjected to judicial control and a travel ban by the judge.
