An expert sergeant, 43 years old, who was preparing for a wedding in the Ereğli district of Zonguldak, seriously injured himself with his gun after leaving his family to wash his face after withdrawing money from the bank.

Ertuğrul B., an expert sergeant from Gaziantep who came to the Karadeniz Ereğli district with his family for wedding preparations, started preparing for the wedding. Ertuğrul B. and his brother K.B., who is also an expert sergeant, wanted to withdraw money from the bank and buy gold from the jeweler.

After a while, the expert sergeant sent his location to his fiancée G.A.'s phone. His brother also called his brother Ertuğrul B. to understand the situation. When the family couldn't reach the expert sergeant, they went to his location. Meanwhile, the citizens, who were startled by the sound of a gunshot, saw Ertuğrul B. shooting himself in the head. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.

SEVERELY INJURED

Meanwhile, the family, who arrived at the scene, learned that the expert sergeant shot himself in the head with his service weapon. The expert sergeant, covered in blood, was taken to a private hospital in the district after the initial intervention. The treatment of Ertuğrul B., who is in critical condition, is ongoing. The police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
