The suspect who killed 6-year-old Şirin Elmas Hanilçi in Şişli has been brought to court. In his first statement, the murderer said, "She annoyed me a lot, so I strangled her."

The suspect who killed 6-year-old Şirin Elmas Hanilçi in the Şişli district of Istanbul has been sent to the courthouse.

Sad news came about 6-year-old Şirin, who had been missing since October 31 in Şişli; her lifeless body was found in Feriköy Cemetery. The suspect who murdered Şirin Elmas Hanilçi was detained and confessed everything during the interrogation.

DROWNED IN THE CEMETERY

In Feriköy neighborhood, efforts were made for 6-year-old Şirin, who had been missing for days and whose family had filed a missing person report. By examining the camera footage in the area, the lifeless body of the girl was found in Feriköy Cemetery. The suspect confessed that he strangled Şirin in Feriköy Cemetery. After the interrogation at the police station, the suspect was sent to the courthouse.

"I WAS VERY ANNOYED, I STRANGLED HER"

It was learned that the suspect M.Ö. stated in his testimony that he did not abuse the child. M.Ö. said, "I was walking, she came to me asking for money. She followed me. She didn't leave me alone. She annoyed me a lot. So I strangled her and killed her. Then I threw her in the cemetery. I covered her with branches and bushes."
