Çetin, who has been working at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Culture Department since 2009, has been employed there since 2009.

Seda Çetin married Fatih Korkmaz, an inspector at İBB, in 2014, and they welcomed their 10-year-old daughter, Mina Şiir. In a statement, Çetin expressed that she has not given up acting; "A stable job is good, but it can pull people like us down. The passion for acting inside me never fades. I want to return to acting," she said.
