According to the Henley Passport Index, Singapore has the world's strongest passport with visa-free access to 192 destinations, while the United Kingdom has dropped to 182 after losing access to 8 destinations in the past year. The United States has returned to the top 10 with access to 179 destinations, although it lost 7 destinations in the last year. Turkey ranks 46th with visa-free entry to 113 countries.

The latest report of the Henley Passport Index revealed that the Singapore passport has once again become the world's strongest passport in terms of visa-free travel. While the decline of the USA and the UK in recent years is noteworthy, Turkey maintained its position at 46th place.

THE WORLD'S STRONGEST PASSPORT: SINGAPORE

According to the report, the Singapore passport ranks first on the list by granting visa-free access to 192 out of 227 countries and territories. Japan and South Korea shared the second place with 188 destinations.

EUROPEAN COUNTRIES IN HIGHER RANKS

The index evaluates countries with the same score at the same level. Accordingly, Denmark, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland are in third place. These countries provide visa-free access to 186 destinations. In the fourth tier, Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, and Norway are listed. The passports of these countries offer visa-free entry to 185 destinations.

In fifth place, Hungary, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are listed with 184 destinations.

NEW BALANCES IN THE TOP 10: DECLINE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND USA

In sixth place are Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Malta, New Zealand, and Poland. The seventh place is shared by Australia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, and the United Kingdom.

According to the report, the United Kingdom experienced the largest decline in the past year. The number of countries with visa-free access for the UK passport dropped to 182, with a loss of 8 destinations over 12 months.

In eighth place, Canada, Iceland, and Lithuania are listed with 181 destinations. Malaysia is in ninth place with 180 destinations, while the USA is listed in tenth place with 179 destinations. It was stated that the USA briefly fell out of the top 10 by the end of 2025, then returned to the list. Additionally, it was noted that the USA experienced visa losses in 7 destinations over the past year, marking one of the most significant declines in the last 20 years.

TURKISH PASSPORT AT 46TH PLACE

Turkey is ranked 46th on the list. The number of countries that can be accessed visa-free with a Turkish passport was announced as 113. While Turkey maintained its position from last year, it was at 52nd place in 2024. On the other hand, Turkey's highest rank in the index was 38th place in 2014.
