In the case regarding the death of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır, Salim Güran, the uncle who is being tried with a life sentence request, was fined a total of 1 million 698 thousand lira by the electricity distribution authority for three separate reasons during the period between May and August.

In the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, the trial of four detained defendants regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in the Tavşantepe neighborhood has been postponed to Thursday, December 26, at 09:00, with a decision to continue their detention.

PENALTY FOR SALIM GÜRAN FOR ILLEGAL ELECTRICITY USE

During the trial that started on November 7 in Diyarbakır, Salim Güran was asked about a voice recording he deleted from his phone. Salim Güran claimed that he used illegal electricity to irrigate his field. Lawyers stated that Salim Güran was fined for using illegal electricity. According to information obtained by Hürriyet, Güran was fined a total of 1 million 698 thousand lira by the relevant electricity distribution authority for three separate reasons between May and August. The reasons for the penalty were stated as 'use of neutral device', 'idle consumption', and 'switch intervention'.
