The suspect of the 'Laf atma' murder in Samsun has been arrested.

In the Bafra district of Samsun, 20-year-old Efe D. was arrested for stabbing and killing Özcan Karatepe over a 'verbal altercation'.

HE INJURED HIM WITH A KNIFE HE TOOK OUT OF HIS POCKET

The incident occurred on Emirefendi Passage in the Hacınabi neighborhood. According to allegations, Efe D. (20), while walking on the road, made remarks towards Özcan Kocatepe (21), who was riding a motorcycle, and two women accompanying his brother Hasan Kocatepe. Following this, a dispute arose between Özcan Kocatepe and Efe D. after Özcan Kocatepe got off the motorcycle. As the argument escalated into a fight, Efe D. stabbed Özcan Kocatepe with a knife he took out of his pocket.

DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS, HE COULD NOT BE SAVED

Özcan Kocatepe, who was severely injured by three knife wounds to his chest and abdominal cavity, died at Bafra State Hospital, where he was taken by health teams. The teams from the District Police Department's Public Order Bureau captured the fleeing suspect on Çaycılar Street in Kızılırmak neighborhood and took him into custody. It was determined that the suspect had a blood alcohol level of 2.50 promille.

MURDER SUSPECT ARRESTED

After his procedures at the Public Order Bureau, Efe D. was referred to Bafra Courthouse, where he was arrested by the court and sent to Bafra Type T Closed Prison.
