The suspect who turned the scene into a bloodbath during the right of way dispute has been arrested.

A suspect who killed his father and his uncle, a specialist sergeant, in a road rage incident in Tarsus district of Mersin, was arrested.

HE KILLED THOSE WHO INTERVENED ONE BY ONE

The incident took place on August 11 in front of a restaurant in Sucular neighborhood of the district. An argument occurred between two families over 'giving way'. As the argument escalated, İ.Ş., fired a pump-action shotgun and shot his father Mehmet Emin Şahin (53), who intervened, and later Uzman Çavuş Metin Denizedalan and his uncle Abdurrahim Denizedalan, who came on leave from Van.

Uzman Çavuş Metin Denizedalan and his uncle Abdurrahim Denizedalan died at the scene, while Mehmet Emin Şahin was taken to the hospital and died. 6 people were also injured in the incident.

ATTACKER ARRESTED

Gendarmerie teams detained İ.Ş. and M.G. who were involved in the incident. After the procedures at the gendarmerie, İ.Ş., A.S., and M.G. were referred to the courthouse. İ.Ş. was arrested while the two suspects were released to be tried without detention under judicial control.
