The investigation into the incident in which the famous artist Güllü fell from the window of her fifth-floor apartment and lost her life is ongoing. The Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has assigned an expert team that previously solved a similar case to conduct an examination at the scene. The technical report to be prepared will shed light on critical questions regarding whether Güllü fell or was pushed.
Following the tragic event that occurred on September 26, 2025, in the Çınarcık district of Yalova, the investigation into the death of the famous artist Gül Tut (known by her stage name Güllü) continues to deepen. The cause of Güllü's death, who fell from the window while spending time on the closed terrace of her apartment on the 5th floor with her daughter and a friend, has still not been clarified.
THE EXPERT COMMITTEE WILL CONDUCT AN INSPECTION AT THE SCENE
According to a report by Musa Kesler from Hürriyet, the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has assigned a three-person engineering team of experts to clarify the incident. This same team had previously clarified a similar suspicious death case in the village of Soğuksu in Yalova and had been decisive in the legal process with the report they prepared.
The committee will conduct a comprehensive inspection in the room where Güllü's window is located and at the point where the artist was found injured in the coming days. Detailed measurements will be taken during these studies, and the data obtained will be meticulously analyzed.
THE QUESTION SOUGHT IN THE REPORT: "DID GÜLLÜ FALL, OR WAS SHE PUSHED?"
The report to be prepared as a result of the technical examination will seek to answer whether Güllü's death was an accident or the result of an intervention. The findings regarding the manner of death will directly affect the direction of the investigation.
THE SAME COMMITTEE HAD PREVIOUSLY CLARIFIED A MURDER CASE
One of the cases the expert committee had previously worked on was the Semiha Sözer case, which had garnered significant public attention. Semiha Sözer, who was with her husband in a mountainous area in the village of Soğuksu, died after falling from a cliff, and the incident became suspicious due to her husband Erdal Sözer's contradictory statements. In the report prepared by the same expert committee, it was determined that Sözer could only have fallen by being pushed. In light of this evidence, her husband was arrested and charged with aggravated life imprisonment.
Now, the same expert team is expected to reach critical findings in the incident where Güllü lost her life. It is hoped that the technical report obtained will be of a nature that will dispel doubts regarding the artist's death.
