Teams evaluating complaints about continuous begging in the women's section of a mosque in Kayseri identified a beggar as a result of their investigation. The beggar was found to have 12,200 TL in cash.
The Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Zoning Department seized 12,200 TL from a woman who was found to be begging continuously during an inspection at the Bürüngüz Mosque in Cumhuriyet Square.
The teams of the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Zoning Department are clearly sending a "no passage" message to beggars. The zoning teams, which operate 24/7, continue their regular inspections to maintain public order and prevent the exploitation of citizens' moral feelings.
BEGGING DETECTED UPON RECEIVING COMPLAINTS
In this context, the teams evaluated complaints regarding continuous begging in the women's section of the Bürüngüz Mosque in Cumhuriyet Square and identified a beggar as a result of their work. During the inspection conducted by female zoning personnel, 12,200 TL was found on the beggar, and this amount was seized to be transferred to the public as required by law. Authorities emphasized that inspections against individuals who exploit citizens' moral feelings will continue resolutely.
