The increase in fuel prices continues. After the rise in diesel prices, a price increase for gasoline per liter is expected this time. According to information obtained from industry sources, a 1.11 lira increase in the price of gasoline per liter is anticipated starting from Saturday.
With the rise in Brent crude oil, another increase in fuel prices is on the agenda. Following the hike in diesel prices, an increase in the price of gasoline per liter is expected to take effect from Saturday.
AFTER DIESEL, IT'S GASOLINE'S TURN
Recently, diesel prices saw an increase of 4.16%, with the price per liter exceeding 60 lira in many cities. Thus, for the first time in history, diesel surpassed 60 lira.
1.11 LIRA INCREASE IN GASOLINE
Now, all eyes are on gasoline. According to information obtained from industry sources, an increase of 1.11 lira in the price of gasoline per liter is anticipated starting from Saturday.
OIL PRICES TRENDING UPWARD
The ongoing volatility in Brent crude oil is directly affecting fuel prices in the domestic market. Despite the U.S. continuing diplomatic contacts with Iran, the deployment of an aircraft carrier to the Middle East is raising risk perception in global markets, pushing oil prices upward. These developments are reflected as price increases at the pump.
