The thermometers showed 44 degrees in Bodrum district of Muğla. Due to the high air temperature in the touristic district, some areas of the asphalt melted. Drivers had difficult moments in the areas where the asphalt melted.

The daily life in Bodrum district of Muğla was negatively affected due to the temperature reaching 44 degrees. In some parts of the district, the asphalt melted.

The General Directorate of Meteorology had issued a high temperature warning for the whole country. The temperature in Bodrum has been above 40 degrees for a few days.

In some parts of Bodrum, the highest temperature measured in the shade reached 44 degrees. Due to the hot weather, the asphalt was seen melting in the rural neighborhoods of Kumköy, Pınarlıbelen, and Etrim. Some drivers experienced difficult moments in the areas where the asphalt melted. The temperatures are expected to decrease by 2-3 degrees next week.
