The plane of Turkish Airlines, which was on its way from Istanbul to Taipei, encountered turbulence shortly before landing at Taipei Airport. As a result of the turbulence, 4 passengers and 2 cabin crew members were slightly injured. THY Press Advisor Yahya Üstün made a statement about the incident on his social media account.

6 people were injured when Turkish Airlines' plane flying to the capital of Taiwan encountered turbulence. THY Press Advisor Yahya Üstün provided information about the current situation through a statement on social media.

In the statement, Yahya Üstün said: "Our aircraft with tail code TC-JJE, operating TK24 flight from Istanbul (IST) to Taipei (TPE), experienced adverse weather conditions (turbulence) approximately 2 hours away from Taipei. As a result of the turbulence, 4 passengers and 2 cabin crew members on our plane were slightly injured."
