In the statement, Yahya Üstün said: "Our aircraft with tail code TC-JJE, operating TK24 flight from Istanbul (IST) to Taipei (TPE), experienced adverse weather conditions (turbulence) approximately 2 hours away from Taipei. As a result of the turbulence, 4 passengers and 2 cabin crew members on our plane were slightly injured."
