With the easing of tensions in global markets, the planned increase of 2.74 TL for diesel has been withdrawn, while a decision has been made to raise the price by 20 kuruş, effective from midnight tonight.

Recently, the expectations of price increases that have been unsettling drivers in fuel prices have changed direction. The decrease in tensions between the U.S. and Iran in the Middle East and the easing of global market tensions have prevented the planned record increase in diesel. According to industry sources, the expected increase of 2 lira and 74 kuruş in diesel has been canceled.

BRENT OIL HAS DECLINED, PRICE INCREASE HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN

Brent oil prices, which rose rapidly due to concerns about war in the oil markets, have eased with the reduction of geopolitical risks. This development has also directly reflected on fuel pricing in Turkey. The previously announced high rate of diesel price increase, which drew significant public backlash, has therefore been shelved.

LIMITED INCREASE AT MIDNIGHT

Although the major price increase has been canceled, the increase in diesel prices has not completely disappeared. According to the information obtained, a limited increase of 20 kuruş will be applied to the diesel group starting from midnight tonight. Thus, drivers will face a lower price update compared to the expected high increase.

80 KURUŞ INCREASE IN LPG

While the needle for diesel is turning downward, a price increase has occurred in the autogas front. As of last night, an increase of 80 kuruş has been reflected in the liter price of LPG at the pump, and the signs have been updated.
