In the district of Karkamış in Gaziantep, a tired bullet allegedly fired from Syria caused the death of a young person. Following the incident, a comprehensive investigation was launched.

The anxiety caused by tired bullets in the district of Karkamış in Gaziantep is increasing day by day. According to the information obtained, many tired bullets, the purpose and method of firing from the Syrian side of the border are unknown, fell to many points in the district of Karkamış.

19-YEAR-OLD YOUNGSTER LOST HIS LIFE

According to the allegation, one of the tired bullets hit Mehmet Caymaz (19), who was sitting by the Euphrates River, in the chest. While the young man, who was the target of the tired bullet, was seriously injured, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured young man was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the first intervention by the health team. Despite all the interventions made at the hospital, severely injured Mehmet Caymaz could not be saved and lost his life. The relatives of the deceased young man had a nervous breakdown at the hospital. It was reported that an investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
