Following the United States' decision to blacklist 140 Chinese companies with new restrictions, China has retaliated. With this move, a trade war between the two giants has officially begun, as China has imposed a ban on the export of three materials used in the defense industry to the United States.

The U.S. has added 140 more Chinese companies to its blacklist, imposing the most comprehensive restrictions to date. Following sanctions aimed at preventing China's chip production capacity and the use of chips in military modernization, Beijing has suspended the export of critical products to the U.S.
RETALIATION FROM CHINA
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has banned the export of military-related mineral products to the U.S. These minerals include gallium and germanium, which are used in many products such as solar panels, lasers, night vision goggles, and computer chips, as well as antimony and superhard materials.
