Baştuğ was injured by three knife wounds to his back and collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood. The attacker Doğan fled the scene.
DIED
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Injured Baştuğ was taken to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital by ambulance, where he died despite all medical interventions. The fleeing Doğan was apprehended by police teams shortly thereafter. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
