In the Hisarcık district of Kütahya, 52-year-old Havva Koç, who set out on an ATV to tend to her animals, lost control of the steering wheel on rugged terrain, was trapped under the overturned vehicle, and died at the scene; an investigation into the accident has been launched.
A 52-year-old woman lost her life after being trapped under an overturned ATV in a crash in the Hisarcık district of Kütahya.
The accident occurred at the Düşecek road location in the Karbasan village. According to the information obtained, Havva Koç, who was engaged in livestock farming, set out on an ATV to tend to her animals in a pen in the countryside.
LOST CONTROL OF THE STEERING WHEEL
The terrain-type motorcycle driven by Koç overturned on the bumpy road after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. Koç, who was trapped under the ATV in the accident, was seriously injured.
DIED AT THE SCENE
Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area upon notification. During the check by health teams, it was determined that Havva Koç had died at the scene.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
Koç’s body was taken to the hospital morgue after examinations at the scene. An investigation has been launched into the accident.
