The governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu, who was appointed as the trustee of Tunceli Municipality, changed the name of the municipality's social media account on platform X from "Dersim Belediyesi" to "Tunceli Belediyesi." The detail of the Turkish flag on the account also drew attention.

Tunceli Mayor Cevdet Konak was suspended from duty by the Ministry of Interior after receiving a sentence of 6 years and 3 months in the trial he was involved in. It was announced that Tunceli Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu was appointed to Tunceli Municipality by the Ministry of Interior.

One of the first actions of Tekbıyıkoğlu, who was appointed to the municipality, was to make changes on social media. The name on Tunceli Municipality's social media platform X account was changed from 'Dersim Municipality' to 'Tunceli Municipality'.
