It has been learned that the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) will assign a local referee for the Beşiktaş-Galatasaray derby. The Beşiktaş management had requested that the derby match be officiated by a foreign referee. However, the TFF's decision favored a local referee. Although there has been no official statement, according to information obtained from federation sources, there is a 90% likelihood that a Turkish referee will officiate the match scheduled for March 29.

It has been reported that the Turkish Football Federation has made a decision regarding whether a local or foreign referee will be appointed for the Beşiktaş - Galatasaray derby, which will be played in the 29th week of the Super League.
