The U.S. Central Command Forces (CENTCOM) announced that B-52 heavy bombers have begun patrol missions in Syria and Iraq.
The anti-regime groups led by Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), which are clashing with the forces of Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria and have taken control of the city center of Hama, have reached the interior of the city of Homs, which is described as the last stronghold before the capital, Damascus.
THE DEMOLITION FLEET HAS STARTED PATROLLING IN THE REGION
As the advance of the opposition continues, the power struggles between the US and Russia in the region have also begun to flare up again. Most recently, a US fleet consisting of B-52 heavy bombers, referred to as the 'demolition fleet', has started its patrol mission in Syria and Iraq. In a statement from the US Central Command Forces (CENTCOM), it was stated, "Air patrols over the airspace of Syria and Iraq have begun with the B-52 heavy bomber."
