Gokhan Cagrici, a dentist from Sivas living in Paris, shared unknown aspects of Fenerbahçe's new star N'Golo Kante. Recalling an experience they had in a restaurant, Cagrici said, "He wanted to eat rice but asked me, 'Can we eat together?' because he thought he wouldn't be able to finish it. When I said I wouldn't eat, he didn't order the rice. He said, 'I was afraid I wouldn't be able to finish it.'"
Gökhan Çağrıcı, a dentist from Sivas living in Paris, made striking statements about the French star N'Golo Kanté. Speaking to Sabah Spor, Çağrıcı described Kanté's humble personality and the unknown aspects of his private life.
"HE BECAME MY PATIENT 10 YEARS AGO, TURNED INTO FRIENDSHIP"
Çağrıcı stated that their acquaintance began 10 years ago, saying, "Kanté came to me for dental treatment 10 years ago. The acquaintance that started that day gradually turned into a very strong friendship. He is very close not only to me but also to my family. My mother and father love him, and he loves my family very much. When we get together, we have long meals and conversations."
Emphasizing the importance the French footballer places on family, Çağrıcı said, "When he calls me, he asks about each family member one by one, and he even asks about the chickens in our garden and our Kangal named Aslan. His thoughtfulness is enough to describe what kind of person he is."
"HE TEACHES WITH HIS BEHAVIOR"
Highlighting Kanté's humble nature, Çağrıcı said, "He is truly humble. He speaks little but teaches a lesson with his behavior like a slap in the face. I was not surprised that he made individual statements to all the press members after the Gençlerbirliği match. He is also sensitive towards children. I have never seen him turn away any child asking for a photo; sometimes he chats with them for half an hour."
"EVERY DROP IS VALUABLE"
Çağrıcı also illustrated Kanté's sensitivity to waste with examples. "When we were flying from France to Antalya, he took out the water given on the plane a week later when we returned to Paris. He said, 'I didn't want to throw it away.' When he saw my surprise, he added, 'Every drop is valuable.'"
"I WAS AFRAID I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO FINISH"
Sharing a memory from a restaurant, Çağrıcı said, "He wanted to eat rice but asked me, 'Shall we eat together?' because he was afraid he wouldn't be able to finish it. When I said I wouldn't eat, he didn't order rice. He said, 'I was afraid I wouldn't be able to finish.'"
