Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated in an interview with Qatari media, "We are prepared for any military attack from Israel. Our forces are capable of targeting the depths of Israel again if necessary."
The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, stated in an interview with the Qatar-based Al Jazeera channel that he evaluated Iran's stance towards Israel and the recent developments in the region.
Pezeshkian, who said that Israel attacked Iran and that they responded strongly, stated, "We are prepared for any military attack from Israel. Our forces are capable of targeting deep into Israel if necessary. Israel has carried out attacks against us, and we responded strongly and hit their depths. However, Israel hides the losses it incurs in these attacks from the public."
Pezeshkian remarked, "Israel wanted to dismantle and eliminate our country by overthrowing the regime in Iran, but it has failed. Of course, there have been some infiltrations, but the main role in this was played by U.S. technology and its use."
"ISRAEL IS TRYING TO HIDE ITS IMPACT"
Emphasizing that they do not want war, Pezeshkian stated, "However, we cannot rely solely on a ceasefire and remain defenseless. We will continue to defend ourselves strongly. Israel is trying to hide the impact of our missile attacks, but the regime's request to stop the war clearly reveals the background of what is happening."
"IRAN HAS NOT SURRENDERED, AND IT WILL NOT"
Iranian President Pezeshkian stated, "Iran has never surrendered and will not, this is a fact known by everyone. However, we are a country that believes in diplomacy and dialogue. The countries in the region have shown an unprecedented level of strong support for Iran during the recent war process."
Pezeshkian, who stated that Iran's stance on nuclear weapons is clear, said, "Having nuclear weapons is contrary to our political, religious, humanitarian, and strategic stance. Uranium enrichment activities will continue on our lands within the framework of international laws."
"NOT BECAUSE TRUMP SAID, BUT BECAUSE OF OUR LEADER'S FATWA"
Masoud Pezeshkian stated that any potential future negotiations should be based on a win-win principle, saying, "We do not accept threats and orders. U.S. President Donald Trump says that Iran should not have nuclear weapons. We accept this, but not because Trump said so, but because it is the fatwa of our leader (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei). To say that our nuclear program has ended is an illusion. Our nuclear capabilities are not in facilities but in the minds of our scientists."
"WE DID NOT ATTACK QATAR, WE ATTACKED THE U.S. BASE"
Regarding the attack on the U.S. Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated, "We did not attack Qatar, nor will we. Qatar is our brother country, and its people are our brothers. We only attacked the base of the U.S. that bombed our country. I understand the feelings of our Qatari brothers. For this reason, I spoke on the phone with the Emir of Qatar. Our intentions towards Qatar are brotherly. We are ready to help them in every field."
